Additional information

Hi, Thank you for your time today, it's great to have access to this chat and I've appreciated your responses. I'm curious about how your work life changed as you transitioned to working from home during COVID-19. I imagine that you are spending less time with colleagues and clients and would love to know how you've been supported with this and how you connected with the EY community during all of this uncertainty? Thank you, Mary-Ellen C.

Hi, we already as a firm employed a flexible working culture and we often worked from home even before this.

As a result we have adapted very well & ensure to stay in touch with each other - colleagues and clients alike over microsoft teams.

We have regular team meetings and catch ups but also not just from a work perspective - we have gotten together socially with bake offs, team quizzes, book clubs etc.

EY have done a really good job of bringing its people together and ensuring we are coping with the ongoing pandemic.

Thanks for this Claire, that's great to hear. I've been reading about the culture at EY and the focus on people and it sounds like this is definitely ringing true now. I imagine the bake offs and social activities would have been a lot of fun! I appreciate you sharing your experience, thank you.
