Hi Viktoria, I am a second year on the graduate scheme thought you might benefit from a different perspective. I chose a graduate role because I felt going through university would be an invaluable experience and pose a real journey to self discovery regarding my personal interests. Following my time in university, I felt confident and focused regarding which career my skills and interests a more tailored towards which made choosing this grad role relatively straight forward.
Whilst I appreciate the advantages an apprenticeship offers, if I could go back, I wouldn't have it any other way!

If you don't mind me asking, what university did you go to and what subject did you study?

Not at all.
I studied my Bachelor's degree Chemical Engineering at the University of Surrey and went on to do a Masters in Global Management of Natural Resources at University College London

Thank you! When did you get offered a job at EY- during university or after? Also, how competitive would you say the graduate application process is?

I got offered the job shortly after graduating from University. Its a fairly competitive process but ultimately designed to assess your strengths and how well you fit into the role. So I was more focused on show casing my strengths.
