Hi Lale. Thank you for your question! As an apprentice, you are able to apply for either a Business apprenticeship in any of our 4 service lines (Tax, Assurance, Tax or Transactions) or a Degree Apprenticeship in Digital and Technology or in Business Leadership and Management. Which path you decide to go down does not impact your involvement at EY! I, for example, am in Restructuring in Transactions and I am working with some of the biggest companies in the world, even though I am only a year in. EY will not limit your involvement based on your level/grade - all teams strongly encourage getting involved and taking as many of the opportunities as you can. Let me know if you have any further questions!

Lale W.

Also due the the degree apprenticeships being extremely competitive , do you have any advice on the application and how it works when recruiting lots of people for the Newcastle office working with Northumbria university

Can I choose what location I do the degree apprenticeship at and do you provide any help with finding accommodation?

We do not have any specific qualification requirements, just that you have a minimum of 3 A Levels and that you meet your predicted grades. We also have a 6 stage application process which is: Registration (inputting your details), Learning About You (this is where we get to know a little bit about you and how you think), Learning on the Job (a numerical reasoning assessment), Career Coaching Call (where we will ask you a bit about your motivations for joining EY), then if successful you will be invited to an assessment centre at one of our offices and finally an interview with one of the senior members of our teams. My advice would be to be yourself and make sure that you prepare! Find some numerical reasoning assessments online to prepare for our third stage. For the interview stage, make sure you can back up anything you say that you know and don't be afraid to show off what you know!

Not at all! The requirement is 3 A Levels or equivalent, so doing a BTEC is absolutely fine

Hi Terry. Thanks for getting in touch. We offer the Degree Apprenticeship at a few locations so if you're making an application, you can select your preferred one. Unfortunately, we don't support with accommodation. More information can be found here: https://ukcareers.ey.com/students/programmes/apprenticeships/degree-apprenticeship-in-digital-and-technology
