What kind of work to expect as a graduate, and in the future, say, 5 years? Many thanks.

Financial Services Senior Consultant - Cybersecurity

Hi Eva - good question. IT Risk & Assurance focuses primarily on risks facing the organisation's IT environment, such as cybersecurity and IT Assurance. We primarily work on supporting our financial audit colleagues by assessing the control environments on financially significant applications in the company, however we also will conduct cyber risk assessments and assist with cyber transformations. Technology Consulting will be more surrounding IT improvement programmes and software upgrades / developments. For both, as a graduate you'd be assisting with projects and working on the ground with the client, under a particular workstream leader. In five or so years you could be owning your own projects and leading teams within your chosen sector. Hope this helps!
