Hello! There are a couple of differences. To start, IT Risk & Assurance can be either UKI or FS - this will determine what sector your clients come from. In FS, they'll be from the financial sector, while UKI will be the remaining sectors. In FS, Data & Analytics is a separate service line. In UKI, it falls under ITRA. ITRA usually involves three competencies: Risk Assurance (assisting our audit colleagues through auditing IT systems), Cybersecurity, and Risk Transformation.

Data Analytics will focus on modelling data and using it to assist our clients with process improvement (through root cause analysis, for example) or structure it for better use in an existing process. Data Analytics are also the team currently working on predictive analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities, as well as robotic process automation.

Essentially, if you like working with data and finding patterns within it, then Data & Analytics is right up your alley.

Hope this helps!
