Hi there, UK&I is General audit throughout UK & Ireland. FS relates to financial services (banks, investment companies, other financial firms) audit.
Therefore the key differential is the type of industry/clients you will be working on.

Hi there, with UK&I consulting, do you get exposure to different industries or just one? Am slightly confused so any help would be appreciated!

Great question!
As mentioned above, the main differences between UK&I and FS are the 1) clients you work on and 2) your main office location:
- 1) UK&I is a regional designation covering all industries (including but not limited to financial services, consumer products, technology, media, and telecommunications) within the UK and Ireland, while FS is a sector-specific designation focusing on financial services (clients in the banking, capital markets, insurance, and wealth and asset management industries) globally.
- 2) UK&I usually work in the London Bridge office, whereas FS works in the Canary Wharf office.
