Hi Ryan! Thanks for asking. To introduce, I am working in our UK & I Assurance practice. FSO involves all Financial Services clients e.g. Wealth & Asset Management, Banks etc. UK & I covers every industry apart from Financial Services e.g. Retail, Energy, Tech etc.
In terms of work, there is a difference definitely in industry sectors, needless to say. The Audit work is pretty similar in terms of what we do. However, as senior you get, you need sector specific knowledge to audit better and FSO and UK & I professionals develop them accordingly. However, we work for the same firm and share the same values and life! :D

Hey Murtaza. Thanks for your info :) really appreciate! I've got one more question-- will all UK&I auditors be based in the More office and FSO all in Canary Wharf?

Great. I visited the More office twice and very much like the building and its surroundings and I will have my AC there next week. Hope I can join you as an EY ppl soon :)

That is really good to hear. My best wishes for you application! Just try learning from your prior experiences (if any) for Assessment Centres and apply them. For interviews, let your passion shine through in answers, do not plainly memorise answers, remember them in pointers. For group exercises, try to be inclusive and coordinate with people well whilst showing engagement on everyone's opinions.

Thanks so much for these words and tips for AC. I did have a failed AC experience from other big4 firm but I will definitely put my heart and soul on EY's application as this seems the best fit for me :)

Definitely, best of luck Ryan! Try staying relaxed. Work as hard as you can, try speaking to people who have done it before and before the day, relax. Go in and enjoy!
