Hi Connor,

Thanks for your question, and no need to apologise - we’re here to help answer your questions, so it’s not a bother whatsoever.

Congratulations on completing the assessment day! When it comes to the interview, doing good research is one of the best ways to stand out. My interview had a short presentation task, and I’m assuming that hasn’t changed, so I would recommend spending time researching your topic and supporting your key points with evidence. I would also extend that to EY - it looks like you’re on the right path, but make sure you show that you’ve read up on EY and your chosen service line.

The other piece of advice I’d give is to ensure you highlight any experience you have that makes you an ideal candidate, and remember to relate it back to your preferred role. This doesn’t need to be accountancy related - a lot of our work at EY is client-focused, so you might want to give an example of a time you worked in a team to achieve a goal, a time you gave good service to a client/customer, and so on.

I hope this is helpful - please let me know if you have any other questions, and good luck!
