Hi Jathusa, thanks for your question! I'm currently in my first role in accountancy, which is as an Audit Associate here at EY. Before joining, I had no prior accountancy knowledge and hadn't studied it at school. When I joined, I had a week long book keeping course to get me up to speed, so that I understood the basics of accounting.

I am due to become part qualified this year due to the number of exams I will have sat by October, which is when I will become a Part Qualified (PQ) Senior; the next role after this would be becoming a fully qualified senior when my role would be Audit Senior.
