i believe that applying for the tax apprenticeship will mean I work at the office, but what's the reason of travelling?
Additional information
I have seen close relatives working in tax and not travelling at all, so I'm a bit confused ?

Hi! You tend to spend most of your time working in the office. However, some clients prefer it if you complete your tax audit at their offices which is what I got to do in my first year.
Alternatively, there are also opportunities to travel abroad later down the line. EY Tax run quite a few secondments where you can spend a few months working in different countries.
