Additional information
Are you looking for particular characteristics in an individual, or is it more about how the candidate interacts with others?

We're looking for you as an individual, but as part of that we will be looking at how you work with others, collaboration is a key strength for us :)

Hi Jane, thanks for your help! Do the characteristics you look for in individuals differ depending on the service line? I'm particularly interested in PAS, and I wonder whether more emphasis will be put on collaboration compared to the NRT?

At this point the strengths we look for will the same as collaboration is important for all teams. What I can suggest is before the day looking up PAS and what they do in those teams so you have some commercial awareness. Then if you're asked anything by an assessor you have a good point of reference to show you've researched your chosen area

That's great, thank you! Do you know if there are any opportunities to speak to people who work in PAS to find out more? Or are these kinds of online chats not done for more specific EY services?

Perfect, thank you. I have just one more question:

During an EY assessment I was asked why I applied to a particular role and location. I felt confident answering about the role, but felt unsure about how to answer the location aspect. I'm not sure what the purpose of this is. I live in London so naturally I would apply there.

Sure no problem at all!!! So I wouldn't overthink the location question, I would keep it as simple as saying because it is where you live :)
