What draws you to join the summer internship at EY?

I wanted a taste of what EY was like since you need to know where is best for you. Also, during the events I attended everyone was very enthusiastic about the community within EY which really appealed to me.

Hi! I'll be participating in EY's Corporate Finance internship this summer. EY's summer internship allows you to gain first-hand experience of working directly with other EY employees. I think that internships are a fantastic way to experience EY's culture and figure out whether your chosen department is what you would like to do as a future career

I had participated in the Spring week for Women in Assurance where I was first introduced to what happens in Audit and Assurance within EY. I really enjoyed the case studies that we had to work on, which gave me a taster on what to expect when working here. You get to speak to amazing EY graduates and present employees that were happy to answer any questions you have !

Hi Sizhu, from my experience on the Discover EY programme in Strategy and Transactions one of the main things that stood out to me was the community at EY. We heard from people throughout the firm, from recent graduates through to partners, and everyone placed a lot of emphasis on how much they enjoy working with the diverse group of people that work at EY. The working environment and variety of people I will be working with is therefore really appealing to me!

Hi Anna! Thank you for sharing! I have also applied to Discover EY in Strategy and Transactions for 2022. Could you please share a bit more about what you did during the programme? Thank you!

That's great to hear! We had a great variety of activities throughout the programme, such as talks, panels and a case study. As I mentioned we had the opportunity to meet and directly ask questions to lots of different EY employees to really get a feel for what it is like to work at EY. I found the case study particularly helpful as it gave us a great insight into what work at EY can look like, whilst also giving us the opportunity to meet the other students on the programme :)

Hi Sizhu, I was also on the Discover EY Women in Strategy and Transactions programme so I can offer some advice on my experience :) During the programme, we were able to participate in group case studies which were really fun and a great way to connect with other participants. We also had some guest speakers who spoke about how women can network effectively and create their personal brand. It was a very empowering and inspiring programme!
