"No achievements in life are the result of singular, private efforts - family, friends and teachers are just as much a part of every success story. However, in those moments where you doubt what you can do, and you worry you're not good enough, and you feel very much alone in your decision; every time you keep going and push yourself further are the moments that you define who you are and what you're capable of. The big secret is that you're capable of anything, you just have to believe it, and then go into the world and act like it!"

How might someone with a bioengineering and biomedical research background apply their experience within the Microsoft Service Group, particularly in relation to life sciences or healthcare-focused projects?

Hi Charlotte, I have been offered an interview for the Tech Consulting - Microsoft Service Group, which I’m excited to learn more about. I wanted to ask how someone with a background in bioengineering and biomedical research might best apply their experience within this area. My PhD has focused on biofabrication and bioengineering, so I’m particularly interested in understanding whether there are opportunities to work with clients in the life sciences or healthcare sectors, or on projects where a scientific background could add value. I’d really appreciate any insight into how people with STEM research backgrounds typically fit into the team, and the kinds of projects or industries I might have exposure to. Many thanks
