Hi Shrikar, I found the first few weeks quite manageable and your team definitely ease you into it.

The teams you work with are there to support you in understanding your new role and day to day activities. Everyone understands you are learning and transitioning and just wants to provide as much support and help as possible

I joined this September and my first experience was great. In the first week we had collage learning the basics of accounting, which I found to be a great foundation for knowledge when in business. From there I went on my first engagement. The people on that engagement understood I was new, and took time to not only help on my work, but to teach me and give me better understanding. This made transition really easy and enjoyable.

Did you guys join the programme with a cohort of people who were all starting at the same time, and if so how would you describe the community (whether it was team learning, individual or both)?

I am one of 5 apprentices in Luton and I know that there are many more across all of the offices. It's a nice environment because you're all in the same boat and do a lot together when you first start.

Graduates and Business Apprentices all join in the same September and you are in one cohort and you will go through training and the college together. I enjoyed having a cohort as they became some of my closest friends as you are all in the same boat and can turn to one another with questions

Yes, so you meet your cohort in collage, and i've made many friends there, and as mentioned its nice because you are all in the same boat. It's not just that though, on my engagement we are all very close, because of this we do quite a few socials on my team. We also, have dinner every night together when we go to client site.

Usually how many of you join together in a cohort? Is it big groups or just a few of you?

It all depends on the office I would say Olivia, this year in London bridge the cohort is fairly large.

It really depends on office location. When I joined we had 13 in my cohort which was a mix of graduates and business apprentices
