They are 35 hours week so 8 hours a day including your Lunch break. They are very flexible when you take your lunch and if you needed to pop out for an hour you could do that and work an hour extra later.

I find it is very flexible. I have taken time out for doctors appointments etc, and just worked later, as well as started earlier and finished earlier on some days where required.

I'm contracted to 35 hours per week, a lot of people do something like a 9-5, but this is very flexible - for example, if I need to travel, want to go for a walk/go to the gym, I just make sure I have no meetings and make up the time by starting earlier/finishing later

For me in Assurance (Data Analytics) it's 9-5, there are some busy periods around January, March and October due to the year ends of the companies we Audit. I have worked longer hours than 9-5 around those times but at other times during the year, it’s a lot quieter. Working longer hours than 9-5 has never been mandated and is more driven by myself. You also have 20% of your time off to study or attend college which is in blocks for me around these quieter periods. I find it nice to be either focused on work or focused on study.
