Strategy and Transactions Graduate - Transaction Diligence
On a day to day, I spend most of my time on project work, producing due diligence reports - in a nutshell this is sort of like an investigation into the financial performance of a business. I'm typically working with management data such as sales data in excel, in a databook, where I'll be producing analysis to guide our conclusions, such as looking at sales by product or sales channel. I'll be on calls with management at regular intervals to ask questions about anything that comes up in our analysis. I'll also be working to produce a report in powerpoint which is where we present our findings to our client. I also spend time on business development here and there, where I might be helping to put together a pitch to win a new project.
