We are working on this from recruitment in the firm all the way up to senior level. We work to ensure diversity in inclusion through targeted events & working with partnerships.
We also look at our recruitment processes to identify and eliminate bias within it. We also want to make sure our opportunities are available to under represented people across the UK.

I would say also in the workplace it is something that is being addressed - there are honest conversations that are had in my competency to understand people's experiences and what can be done. We have had guest speakers and at the end one of the questions we spoke about was how to be a true ally. These conversations are super important and it's great to see that everyone is on board to make true changes. From recruitment to the senior leadership team

Hi Kai, from a specific team perspective, the tax team have recently taken part in a 21 day anti-racism challenge, whereby the whole team (from partners through to interns) each took the initiative to educate ourselves and each other on the meaning of being specifically 'anti-racist' and engaged in conversations on how best we can be more diverse and inclusive within our immediate team, as well as EY as a whole.
