Hi, I'll be a 3rd-year student this fall, in a 4-year Economics program with a Finance minor. As a student based in Turkey, am I eligible to apply for EY's summer internship programs in London or elsewhere in Europe, or are those roles restricted to candidates studying/residing in that country? Is visa sponsorship available for these positions, and is there a quota for international applicants? When do EY Turkey's long-term internship openings typically get posted each year, and what does that application timeline look like? For students who complete the summer internship successfully, is there a pathway to continue into a long-term internship or part-time role afterward, or does that require a separate application process?
Do finance-related certifications (e.g. CFI FMVA) carry any real weight in EY's application/recruitment process or is academic background weighted more heavily?
Hi Irem, thanks for your questions. Our Summer Internships are exclusively for students in their penultimate year of studied. Visa sponsorship is not available for our summer internship role.
We also do not have oversight of EY Turkey, so I'd be unable to answer the remainder of that question.
