This is a great question, and i think the main point is that AI is here to ENHANCE our capabilities and productivity. Not to replace us.
We use AI everyday here at EY and have seen the impact on our work. AI has allowed all EY people to start working more efficiently and allow more time for forward thinking rather than being bogged down in as much admin
this of course hasnt stopped the need for us to review and check AI outcomes, so it is very much there to compliment our work and not replace
AI skills of course will be valuable alongside all of our soft skills like being a team player, and verbal communication. We have a full list on our website with what skills we look for here at EY.
Thank you, that is very interesting. also how important is it for someone joining your business to understand financial markets?
Indeed it is. We suggest keeping close to FT and other news outlets on what is happening in the market. You do not need to know everything directly
Great, thanks, so along with that and practicing the parts of the application process as per a previous answer, is there anything else I could be doing to improve my chances of being successful in my degree apprenticeship application?
Not much else! Our process is designed to test if the role is fit for you based on your natural skill set and style of working so do not over think it too much. Ensure above steps are taken and you should be in the best position possible to be successful.
Again main thing people do is not apply quick enough.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it
