Hi Natasha, do the PAS graduate schemes allow you to try different subsections of the service, or restrict you to one?
Additional information
I'm wondering whether you're restricted to one job, i.e. working on a company's inclusion and diversity, or whether you get the chance to try different types of engagements which involve taking on different tasks.

Hello Margherita and thank you for your question! Generally speaking you are restricted to the service line that you apply to, as these are different disciplines with different exams etc. I actually started in Global Mobility and wanted to move to Workforce Advisory, I was totally supported to do this by my team and Service Line Partner but it was a formal process and I applied for a live vacancy against other external candidates to move across to the other side, I didn't just switch. However, I had a few conversations with a graduate who just started in September and put him in touch with some people in Workforce Advisory and he was able to do a secondment here to try it out! So it is not impossible :) Realistically I would not assume you can't just cross between during the first couple of years while you get qualified but there are some secondment opportunities depending on business need. If you do decide like me after 2 years that you would like to officially move to a different service line then I can say I've had a very positive experience of doing that! I hope this helps but if you have any other questions please just let me know :)

To add - within Workforce Advisory you can do lots of different capabilities within your first few years (e.g. Diversity & Inclusion, Organisational Design, Change Management etc) this is totally fine - it is the cross between the PAS service lines themselves (e.g. Workforce Advisory and Tax) which are more strict!
