Hi Yihan, the exact date varies each year, therefore I would recommend that you follow along for any updates on our website: https://ukcareers.ey.com/students/programmes/graduate-programmes. It will be around August or September. You can also register your interest by clicking "Register for our 2021 opportunities" at the bottom of the page.

I am a Canadian university student studying abroad at the University of Sheffield. I want to pursue management consulting in London once I graduate (2021). Does EY sponsor visas/international candidates?

Hi Jaeda - Yes, you can. We welcome applications from non-European nationals but there are some restrictions you’ll need to know about when you apply. First of all, you need to make sure you meet the criteria for people looking to work in the UK, before you start on a programme.
Then, depending on the start date of the programme you want to apply for, you’ll need to submit your application to us before the following dates:
For programmes with an August or September 2021 intake, your application must be received by 7th February 2021 or 9th March 2021 respectively.
These deadlines give us plenty of time to meet with you during the recruitment process and, if you’re successful, for us to apply for your visa.
Tier 2 sponsorship
As a general rule, applications for Tier 2 sponsorship require EY to show that there are no workers who meet the requirements for the role in the UK resident labour market. We therefore expect all roles will be filled by suitable workers (i) from the UK resident labour market and (ii) by those who hold a Tier 4 (General) visa. People in the second category (ii) will likely be currently studying for a degree in the UK and able to apply for a Tier 2 visa from within the UK, once they have completed their studies.

Thanks! Last question/comment. I am currently on a Student Visa while I am studying abroad in England, which will be up in the summer. I have one more year left of university in Canada, and then I wish to work in the UK. Would I have to apply for a Tier 2 Visa to be able to work at EY? How would I gain the right to work?

Hi Jaeda,
In order to apply for the Tier 2 right to work VISA in the UK for 2021 opportunities, you'd need to currently be on a Tier 4 visa.
You need to make sure you meet the criteria for people looking to work in the UK, before you start on a programme. You can find out more about working visas from the UK Border Agency website.
