What is one major current event happening in the world right now, and how might it impact the markets and EY

We're all very aware of the current climate and the uncertainty we're in but one thing I think that's really setting us apart and keeping us engaged with students is the use of technology and our digital channels. For example we're all working from home now and still able to connect with each other through video calls. We're working really hard every day to make sure our colleagues are wellbeing and to keep our clients safe and trusting us.

Thank you for your reply, Verity, do you think working at home would probably affect our efficiency? And how does working from home affect your line of business?

Thanks for your question Ruirong - EY has always encouraged it's employees to have flexible working so we've always been able to work from home. This just means we plan our days and connect with our teams virtually. We still remain motivated and focused on the work and projects we set out to achieve. Working in recruitment and events has meant that we've had to cancel our face to face attendance and utilise our virtual opportunities so we've been running a lot of webinars and are running our EY Experience Days and some of our insight days virtually too. But we all work hard to continue the hard work and we're committed to delivering the best results.
