I know for other firms new graduates are given a portfolio of clients to work on, but was wondering how it works at EY. Thanks

It depends on the team, but as a new joiner myself I have had plenty of client exposure in my first three months.

Been here three years - speak to at least two clients a week as a minimum. As a new grad in tax - you will get early exposure - but as Arthur said - this varies depending ono service line and team

When you meet with clients how often is will you go out and see their business first hand?

In my opinion, within tax - not that often. I have only visited a client site twice in 3 years. Most times they either come to us or meetings are done over teams. The more senior you become however, this does shift slightly.

Would agree with this. Post-covid, there are now more in person meetings, but it remains heavily MS Teams-based, which allows for easier collaboration across the offices.
