Senior Consultant - Insurance Technology Consulting Platforms

Hi,
Thanks for your question.

I have joined the firm for 2 years and I still recall the great interview experience. My interview experience is overall great and approachable. I felt that I have been given sufficient information before the interview and good follow-ups right after.
I have applied for the tech consulting graduate position and currently sitting in this service line. I am a people person and tech consulting role enable me to build connection with client and help them to grow. I truly enjoy this positive reflection and would love to continue my career with tech consulting.

Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Weitao

Transaction Diligence Graduate

Hi, my experience of the application process was slightly different to other applicants' as I initially applied to the Discover EY insight day in 2021 during my first year of university, completing an online application form and online assessment comprising written and numerical questions. Having participated in this programme, I was then fast tracked to the summer internship application for which I completed a virtual assessment centre and a virtual final interview. Overall my experience was positive and encouraging as I felt comfortable throughout as well as having the opportunity to ask my assessor questions about EY.

I chose this job role as there is a variety of the work we get to do in terms of the industries that our clients operate in as well as whether the team is working on a buy-side or sell-side project. I like how it's quite fast-paced depending on the projects you're on and that no project is the same so there is always the opportunity to develop new and existing skills. With the chance to work with a different team in each project, this is further enhanced by being able to learn from the different perspectives and experiences of my colleagues. I will also qualify as a chartered accountant at the end of my 3-year graduate scheme which will provide me with a solid foundation and strong start to my future career.
