Final year with no internships. What would your advice be?

Hi Chris, I'd advise you to go for a graduate role!

You're in the position to start working as you're graduating soon. The SIP is more a feeder for the 2023 graduate programme so you'd just end up waiting for a year if you went onto the SIP!

Hi Chris, I was in my final year at uni as well and did not manage to get any internships along the way. Don't give up. I made it and so can you!

Great, thank you. I am especially interested in Strategy Consulting. With someone with a non-finance related degree (History), is there much pre-existing knowledge required for the role? If not, what does the training process consist of? Thank you :)

Hi Chris, graduate schemes come with training. Depending on which subteam you're on will depend on what qualification you do.

Hey Chris, not sure how similar Strategy consulting and Strategy & Transactions would be, but for my role the training is on the job (which is pretty much just working alongside the rest of your team who will coach you on the day to day) and then there is our qualification we work towards which is the ICAS chartered accountancy qualification - maybe in consulting you're more likely to do the CIMA though, which is management accounting
