Additional information

Hi, I am applying for ITRA Data Analytics. As it has the word "Assurance" attached to job role, and also there is option to study for ACA qualfication within the programme, I wonder whether it involves any audit/accounting work.

Hi Mia. I hope you're well. You would not be doing standard audits on this programme. However, if there was a technical aspect that needed its assistance you would be involved, for sure.

Hi Dan. Thank you very much for your reply. Do you know if ACA is compulsory for this programme - ITRA Data analytics? If this question is not relevant for the Live chat, is there any Live chat for Technology coming soon?

The qualification is not adjustable, unfortunately. The qualification route is chosen by the business area and our professional qualification team. This is down to business needs. There will be more calls in the future and this area may be covered.

In my chosen programme page, it said: "Study for the ICAEW’s Certificate in Finance Accounting and Business (CFAB). Following your completion of CFAB, you’ll have the option to study for the full ICAEW ACA qualification."

So to my understanding, studying for CFAB is compulsory in this porgramme, but ACA is optional, is that right?

Yes, you will study the CFAB to ease you into professional studies and would then move onto ACA. Due to the programme being 5 years and you would want to progress ACA would be the expected route

I'm slightly confused here because in the programme page, it said it is a 2 year graduate programme? Is the subsequent 3 year ACA route fixed for everyone in this particular programme after completing the first 2 year programme?
