Based on some responses, and the platform from EY - I understand that there are some specific business areas (Tax, Accounting, Government and Public) And you also have service line - technology, finance, law (maybe?)Do the business units fulfill all their own internal services, or you have separate team for fulfilling services internally - how do you communicate across teams, how much staff level employees interact cross departments?Functions I can think of as an example that could work across multiple departments - PolicyTechnology Infrastructure/PlatformFunctions that are department specific:Facing clients, business specific analysis. How is this broken down? How do I know which team/department is going to.Does the team structure correlate with the locations - or you have a breakdown of team structure such as - C Suite, Manager and Client Facing based in London, and developer/analytics based in India for example?

Hello Tibor, I would say the simple answer to this question is that our job descriptions will cover the requirements of the role including: level, service line in which they sit, internal, client facing, location(s), summary of the team function what they do and what they are looking for etc.

How the success and value of the teams are measured? What is the responsibility of a manager in a team setting? How team hierarchy is structured - do you support members of the team to do the work, do team members actively contribute to the goal of the team, is it more of a waterfall based approach, do you have agile processes?

Whilst we have EY Values: Integrity, respect, teaming and inclusiveness... the success element would also be measured and led by the Partner of that team and what works well for that team more on the commercial side

The Manager responsibility on the whole would be to mentor and manage their team (size of team may vary depending on the size of the team as a whole). If client facing, some manager may takes on more direct responsibility and ownership with external clients so again this would vary on where the manager roles sits within EY and would be covered in the job description
