What was it like adapting to learning about it during the apprenticeship and how did the mentors assist with any questions?

Hi Amanda, hope you are well. I joined EY having completed a degree in Biochemistry. I thought it would be harder to adapt as I came from a scientific background however, when you go to college you get taught the different areas from scratch so everyone is at the same level after that. You also learn a lot from your clients and the work you perform. Its a steep learning curve for everyone.

Would you recommend any books, or documentaries on learning more about assurance?

Hi Amanda, I would look at various exam profession body websites like ICAEW, ACA. Was there anything in particular you wanted to find out about?

Ah okay thank you and no I just wanted to get more general information to assist me in the application. But another question what are they looking for during the SJT and Job Simulation?
