Hi Reece! I would suggest including things in your application that show your interest in Assurance (outside of regular school work) to show that it is something that you are really passionate about doing. I also think you should include anything that you think aligns with EYs core values. For example, I had a passion for volunteering/charity work in sixth form and spoke about how this helped me chose EY over other companies offering similar programmes, given EY participates greatly in charitable initiatives. Here's a link to more general application tips: https://www.ey.com/uk/strengths.
Let me know if there is anything else!

Thanks for the advice, also are there any other opportunities for work experience other than the business academy programme? (As I'm already year 13)

Hi Reece - unfortunately we don't offer work experience outside of the Business Academy Programme and Smart Futures Programme (see here for more details: https://www.ey.com/en_uk/careers/students/programmes/schools). But there's still lots you can do to learn about EY - there is a lot of great information on our website, social media channels, etc. So even if it's not formal work experience there's a lot of information available to support you on your Apprenticeship application!

Do you know how many positions there are for the Assurance Apprenticeship in Liverpool?

In general the Liverpool office is a smaller intake - so less than 10 roles across Graduate/Business Apprenticeship. We do still have roles available though and would absolutely welcome you to apply!
