What would you recommend researching before a final interview in assurance/audit?

I'd say truly know and understand the industry that you are applying for. Look at current events, mistakes made in industry. The FT tends to be a good source. Figure out why it's assurance specifically that you would like to apply for and why you are a great fit for the role :). Show the interviewer that you're keen and interested!
